Today is Pooja’s birthday! Pooja has now been with us for well over a year and while she had an athlete profile for her last b-day, so much has changed it was due for an update. In her own words:

Least Fave WOD: anything where Marcus has a say in the weights I use!
Fave Movement: V-Ups, situps, clean & jerk
Least Fave Movement: Wallball shots, box jumps, thrusters
2011 CF Accomplishment: coining the term “poojies”
CF Goals: overthrowing the empire! Kidding aside, she wants to do normal pushups & pullups with the purple band (she started with green and is at blue/purple now!)

Words cannot describe how lucky I feel to be a part of this family! Not only do I thank Ruth, Sean and Marcus for everything they’ve done for me, but also because I have amazing fellow athletes who motivate me to always push my boundaries! The last year has been great at CFI. I am stronger, faster and healthier than I’ve ever been! I plan to work even harder in the years to come and will always strive to do better! I may even stop sandbagging one day… maybe!
