Most of our subject matter experts (SME’s) of nutrition, health, and wellness happen to be men: Robb Wolf, Mark Sisson, Marcus, etc. For men it boils down to eat meat, lift heavy, and crush WODs (ok, a little oversimplified!). However, we ladies are complex. We have periods, female problems ranging from cramps to mood swings, pregnancy and post-partum issues, and menopause. Short end of the stick, anyone?
Luckily we have resources such as Stefani Ruper, author of the Paleo for Women blog, who tackles the nitty gritty issues of the fairer sex. Here are just a few of the articles I’ve found helpful so far:
