I’ve previously sung the praises of the group buy and many of you now participate in the J&J Grassfed Beef delivery. Having several like-minded consumers on your side to help lower costs can take the sting out of the often higher food bill when eating healthy.

Ruth has been working on arranging some coconut-themed group buys for products that fit well with the Whole9 nutritional lifestyle. Currently in the works:

C2O Coconut Water (minimum buy 10 cases) — this is the water we stock in the Intrepid store.

Tropical Traditions — this is the place I personally go to for my coconut oil, and purchase by the giant 1 gallon bucket. Ruth and Sean are also big fans, if you didn’t notice by the several empty gallon containers repurposed as chalk buckets throughout the gym.

For more details and ordering information, post your interest to comments and contact Ruth by e-mail or in person.

Also, since I mentioned J&J, please note that tonight at 11pm is the deadline for this month’s order! Get your order in to make sure you’re well stocked for a Memorial Day barbecue.

@Kyle — yes, for J&J you pick a package from their site and can then add a la carte items if you wish. The payment is made via their website with a credit card. They will then deliver to Intrepid the following Friday.
