Power In Numbers

By Marcus | In Events and Announcements | on May 31, 2012

In the present-day economy, everyone is trying to save a buck. One of the ways available to a like-minded group, such as our gym, is the group buy. As mentioned in this recent post by Sean, we plan to have a small storefront at the gym for certain items. We will also try to arrange the occasional group buy and pass the savings on to you.

First up: Steve’s Paleo Kits, which you may remember I reviewed back in February. These aren’t something you should fall back on regularly instead of cooking, but in a pinch, they are an excellent snack to have at your desk or in your car. Aside from that, part of the proceeds goes to a good cause! Let us know if you’re interested in getting some Paleo Kits in today’s comments section.

Future group buys are in the air, but if you have an idea, feel free to float it our way. I don’t see us going for a large shipment of Snuggies, but who knows? We have had a number of requests for cowpooling or hogpooling, etc. and are just trying to nail down the right farmer to go with. (One of my criteria is that I want the organ meats too… others aren’t so picky.)

Mmm organ meats. I would totally go for that!

I’d also be interested in a kit or two for testing purposes. :)

I tried the Paleo Kits and Paleo Crunch Bars at the SoCal Regionals and really liked them. I’m in for a bulk purchase. We’d probably grab 20 of the Grass Fed Just Jerky, another 10 of the Grass Fed Paleo Kits, and maybe 10 of the Paleo Crunch Bars. Thanks Marcus! When are you submitting the order?

We just got a big order from Paleo Kits, but I’m sure we’d be in for ordering more.

Also, primal pacs are offering free shipping in honor of memorial day through tomorrow. “primal” is the checkout code

How much are the kits? Are they actual bars, like the classic power bars (but better obviously)?
