With Thanksgiving coming up this week, I thought I’d share a turkey recipe we’ve had in the past. For those of you making your turkeys this Thanksgiving, here’s a delicious version with an extra shot of protein.
1-13# whole turkey
2cups butter (softened)
1 1/2oz fresh sage
1lb uncooked bacon
1 garlic clove
Salt & pepper
1. Preheat oven to 325°F
2. Remove giblets & neck from turkey. Rinse and drain well. Blot turkey dry with paper towels.
3. Chop onion and garlic, mix together. Once chopped and mixed, stuff mixture into turkey.
