Urban Paleo Forager: Sabra Beirut Mix

By Holley | In Nutrition, Rest Day | on November 27, 2011

One of my favorite new lunch spots in El Segundo is Sabra Beirut Mix. It replaced the Ittou Bentu with over-priced, small portion meals with delicious, large portioned Mediterranean meals. So far I have sampled the gyro meat, chicken, and kabobs and I absolutely believe you can’t go wrong with one of their meat plates. Their meat plates all come with a side of rice, but they allow you to substitute any of their other sides at no additional charge, I usually go with the mixed vegetables. Probably the most bang for your buck is the gyro plate. They stack the meat high and fill your entire plate. However, my favorite meal is the steak kabob because the seasoning is delicious, the meat is very tender, and they remove the steak from the skewer for you (a big plus in my book). Check it out for lunch or dinner one day, you’ll certainly leave with a satisfied belly for around $10.

I’ve been going to the Sabra Beirut Mix in Hermosa Beach for a while and I can definitely confirm it is amazing. I’m psyched for this new location since I work just down the street!
